When you’re walking down Roosevelt, it’s not unlikely to hear an “Hola!” from Carlos, while he sits outside of Lola drawing. Over the years Carlos has become an integral part of the fabric of Roosevelt Neighborhood. He is technically homeless, but his charisma says otherwise. Roosevelt is his home.
This zine is a small collection of his work. It’s a glimpse into the mind of a man that may appear to have less than most, but somehow finds happiness and riches where most would find despair. We hope you enjoy his work as much as we do, and encourage you to share it with others.
Proceeds from the sale of this zine will help support Carlos after recently losing all of his belongings during a four month stay in the hospital.
